How to delete your Sachin Deep Cleaning account

Through the Mobile App (Recommended)

Open the App

Launch Sachin Deep Cleaning app on your smartphone

Go to Profile

Tap the Profile icon (bottom navigation) or open the menu

Sign In (if needed)

Log in to your account if you're not already signed in

Find Delete Account Button

Scroll down to the bottom of your profile page and tap the red "Delete Account" button

Confirm Deletion

Review the warning message about what will be deleted, then confirm your choice

Account Deleted

Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 24-48 hours

Through Email Support

If you cannot access the app or need assistance:

  1. Send an email to support@sachindeepcleaning.in with subject: "Account Deletion Request"
  2. Include your account email address and phone number (if registered)
  3. Confirm your identity - We may ask additional verification questions for security
  4. We'll process your request within 24-48 hours and confirm via email

âš ī¸ Permanent & Irreversible

Account deletion is permanent. Once deleted, you cannot recover your data. Please ensure you have backed up any important information.

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Profile Information - Name, email, phone number, profile picture
  • Saved Addresses - All delivery and service addresses on file
  • Order History - Past cleaning bookings and service records
  • Payment Methods - Saved credit cards and payment information
  • Communications - Messages and support tickets
  • User Preferences - Settings, notification preferences, favorites
  • Account Balance - Any prepaid credits or wallet balance
  • Reviews & Ratings - Any reviews you've written (preserved for transparency but de-identified)

What Data We Cannot Delete

  • Transaction Records - Kept for legal and tax compliance (anonymized)
  • Dispute/Refund Records - Retained for 3 years per financial regulations
  • De-identified Analytics - Anonymous usage data with no personal identifiers

💰 Outstanding Balance/Refunds

If you have a pending refund or credit on your account, please resolve it before deletion. Once deleted, we cannot process refunds to deleted accounts.

📅 Active Bookings

If you have upcoming cleaning services scheduled, you must cancel them first or contact support before account deletion.

🔑 Recent Authentication Required

For security reasons, you must have recently logged into your account (within the last 24 hours). If you get a "requires re-authentication" error, sign in again and retry.

🔒 Data Security & Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with data protection laws including GDPR and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA). Your account deletion is handled securely and your data is permanently removed from our active systems.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Can I recover my account after deletion?â–ŧ

No. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All data is permanently removed from our servers within 24-48 hours. We cannot recover deleted accounts under any circumstances.

How long does it take to delete my account?â–ŧ

Your account is deleted immediately upon confirmation in the app. However, due to database backup and synchronization processes, complete removal from all our systems may take 24-48 hours. You will not be able to log in immediately after deletion.

Will my reviews be deleted?â–ŧ

Reviews may be preserved as de-identified feedback to help other customers make informed decisions. Your name and personal details will be removed, but the review content may remain without attribution.

Why do you keep transaction records?â–ŧ

We are legally required to maintain transaction records for tax compliance, fraud prevention, and regulatory requirements in India. These records are anonymized and kept in secure, segregated systems.

What if I forgot my password?â–ŧ

Use the "Forgot Password" option on the login screen to reset your password. Or contact our support team and we can help verify your identity and delete your account via email.

Can I delete someone else's account?â–ŧ

No. For security and data protection, only the account owner can request account deletion. We verify ownership before processing any deletion request.

Will deleting the app delete my account?â–ŧ

No. Uninstalling the app only removes it from your phone. Your account remains active on our servers. To delete your account, you must explicitly request deletion through the "Delete Account" button or contact support.
